Recovery Projects Update

DelDOT announces that 70% of construction
projects have been advertised and 64% of
these projects have been awarded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Major projects such as Wilmington are in various phases of pre-construction from archeology and environmental work to design. This work has produced or maintained several jobs to date.

DelDOT is installing new pedestrian signals at various intersections throughout the state featuring a "countdown to safety." This countdown signal shows how many seconds you have to finish crossing the intersection.
